About
Everybody needs somebody to talk to; a listener, supporter, and guide through life's challenges. I work with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families navigating marriage, divorce, parenting changes, empty nest transitions, adolescent struggles, miscarriage, menopause, bereavement, chronic illness, relocation, and other major life events. These experiences can create stress, conflict, and uncertainty, but solutions can be found by working through the family system. Together, we explore challenges, strengthen relationships, and develop practical ways forward toward a healthier, more fulfilling future.
I have a PhD from the University of Liverpool, an MA in Couples and Family Therapy from Arizona State University, and I have trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a highly successful therapeutic method, and, at the renowned Meadows Clinic, in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a remarkable clinically proven technique for treating trauma and other conditions. I also draw on Narrative Therapy, CBT, and other family therapy methods. Starting therapy is an important step, and finding the right therapist matters. I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call for new clients, giving you an opportunity to ask questions, discuss what brings you to therapy, and get a sense of whether we're a good fit to work together.
